Kindergarten readiness is essential as it sets the stage for future academic success. Part of helping every child to be prepared is prioritizing the full scope of a child's unique developmental needs, especially as it relates to underlying disabilities, learning differences, or developmental delays. The 2022-2023 readiness rates show that 52% of children in Florida were deemed not ready for kindergarten. These rates represent a call for professional action!
